School's Discipline

The Rishikul is dedicated to creating a more conscious and compassionate world. Our mission is to create a safe and sacred environment to promote spirituality, ethical behavior, respect and trust.
The student's behavior and attitude, while at the School, should respect traditional Indian culture and enhance the spiritual atmosphere of the School. The School is not a social club or resort.
Students should maintain an atmosphere encouraging mutual respect, civil and congenial relationships and free from all forms of harassment and violence, where everyone can discuss their differences and exchange ideas openly, honestly and respectfully.
Students should use respectful language with each other. Any negative gossiping, spreading of rumors may result in expulsion from the course.
Tobacco, alcohol, non-prescription drugs, meat, fish and eggs are NOT allowed while staying in the School.
Students should not make public displays of affection. Public nudity is forbidden. Celibacy as part of the spiritual discipline is encouraged while staying at the School. Modest dress should be maintained at all times.
Students must return before 9:45 PM. The door will be closed at 10:00 PM.
Students are not allowed to use electronic gadgets like mobile phones / Ipads etc. in the class.
Photography, video, audio recording is not allowed during the classes without prior permission of the director.

Terms & Conditions

Students leaving the course or changing the program before completion are required to return all their teaching materials & manual.
Even in possession of the student the Yoga teacher training manual stays property of the School and is forbidden to share / distribute it.
Students are responsible for their own medical and health care. They should carry their own medicines if necessary. Very limited medical care is available at the School and can be provided only in case of emergency.
School cannot be held liable for any accidents, injuries or thefts during the course.
The remaining balance of the Course fee must be paid within 2 (two) calendar days of arrival at the School. Failure to complete the balance payment within the stipulated time may result in cancellation of enrolment and forfeiture of the Advance Deposit.
The Advance Deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances. No refunds shall be provided for cancellations at any stage, no-shows, early departures or unused days. Please refer to the full Terms & Conditions on our website for complete details.
In case the course is rescheduled or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, school's liability is limited to the refund of deposited fees only.
School reserves the right to use group pictures taken during the course and activities for its records and promotional purposes.
Certificate will only be given after Observation of full attendance hours.

Refund Policy

The Advance Deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. The only relief available is a one-time Batch transfer, subject to the conditions outlined in the full Terms & Conditions.
A one-time Batch transfer may be requested via email to contact@rishikulyogshalarishikesh.com, provided the transfer is to a Batch commencing within 12 months of the original Booking Date and the required notice period (15 or 30 days) is met.
If a student is dismissed for violation of the Code of Conduct, no refund, transfer or adjustment shall be provided.
If the School cancels or reschedules a Batch, students shall be offered a full transfer of the Advance Deposit to the next available Batch at no additional cost, or a full refund of the Advance Deposit only.

Full Disclosure

In order to make informed decisions, the teachers and staff at Rishikul must be able to rely on the truthfulness of information provided by applicants. The information an applicant provides on this form is treated as confidential and will only be seen by those teachers and staff involved with the Teacher Training Course.
